- Yamanouchi group participated in Daikin-ipi "CREST Joint Symposium"
Members of the CREST project in Yamanouchi's gropu participated in the Daikin-ipi Symposium "CREST Joint Symposium: The Future of Quantum Frontiers," held in Koshiba Hall from November 25th to 27th. The symposium was co-organized by the leaders of the four project teams of JST's Strategic Basic Research Promotion Program (CREST) "Quantum Frontiers" at the University of Tokyo (Yamanouchi, Yanai, Ueda, and Kobayashi) to encourage open discussions on quantum technology from a wide range of perspectives. A session by the Yamanouchi team was held on the third day, November 27. The team invited Prof. Ting Rei Tan from the University of Sydney, Australia, to give an invited lecture in their session. One of the team members, Kazuki Tsuoka, also gave a talk in the regular attendees presentation session.
